Hot Girl Vest
This class is ideal for confident sewists ready to expand into garment sewing and upcycling. Bring your own quilt or blanket and leave with a one of a kind vest. Skills covered include pattern reading, garment construction, pocket installation, and finishing techniques. MUST BE COMFORTABLE CUTTING PIECES INDEPENDENTLY
This one size fits most vest features, oversized double lined drawstring hood, front pockets, & drawstring waist.
Pattern, grommets, snaps and cording includedMaterials & Supply List:
- 1 overiszed blanket for main vest fabric (1.5 yards min)
- 1.25 yards of fabric for lining
- 1/2 yard for accent fabric
- 1-2 packs 1/2" double fold bias tape
- Plastic Cord locks (2)
- Sewing machine in good working order
- Cotton or poly thread for piecing and top stitching
- Size 14 or 16 denim or Microtex needle
- Pins & clips
- Rotary Cutter
- Basic sewing supplies
- Rulers
*PLEASE NOTE: Students must stop by to pick up their pattern prior to class. Patterns & fabrics must be cut out prior to
class to ensure we can focus on construction during class time.
